So a few days ago went to the same spot where I picked up that 900 year old Chinese coin. No coins. But from what research I have done a neolithic stone arrow head just sitting by itself on the sand!

A very very nice find. But think you did need a metal detector otherwise I think you might have just stayed on the couch like many do!

Ive never seen a stone point like that at all.. It doesnt look like it was knapped. Maybe it was ground with another abrasive stone of some kind? Who knows.. Very interesting and very very cool.

Yep, I was going to say worth more than most of the metal detector finds. Given what I saw of the condition the buyer got a good deal too. Some of the prices on artifacts will blow your mind.
