Yesterday, I ordered a Nox 600 from Fort Bedford MD. I have only been metal detecting since February, but I have quickly gotten obsessed with it. I figured that I didn't need the gold mode, so I opted for the 600 over the 800. With the price difference and my military discount, I will be immediately getting a carbon fiber shaft and some other goodies. Any other suggestions for upgrades, I'm all ears. Can't wait to get it in and put it to work. I will still use the Vanquish 540 as it has been good to me, but I'm interested in seeing the differences in the two. Exciting times!

Congrats on the new machine! The carbon fiber shaft is a nice upgrade. I recommend Steve's. Good luck finding big treasure!

Good choice of machines. Ground balance noise cancel tone 50 sweep speed 2 iron bias o you’ll be digging silver at 8 to 9 inches deep.
