KT is back on his normal Royal Schedule now. And the Bank held some goodies for KT with this CRH!

Box 1 - 4 40% Ag Kens, 2 NIFCs, 1 Proof, 1 Au-plated Ken, and 1 1971 French 5 francs coin

Box 2 - 1 64 Ken, 3 40% Ag Kens, 10 NIFCs, 2 Proofs

Box 3 - 2 40% Ag Kens, 9 NIFCs, 1 Proof

Box 4 - 1 64 Ken, 3 40% Ag Kens, 10 NIFCs, 2 Proofs

Box 5 - 2 64 Kens, 1 40% Ag Ken, 11 NIFCs, 1 Proof

Total - 4 64 Kens, 13 40% Ag Kens, 42 NIFCs (NO keepers), 6 Proofs, 1 Au-plated Ken, 1 1971 5 franc coin

It's a nice total, me thinks. Plenty of silver to add to the Royal Coffers! And KT likes the walking liberty design of the French coin...It is slightly smaller diameter than a US half, but much larger than a US quarter...that must be how it was able to be passed off as a half.

The only disappointment of the entire hunt was that box 1 was one roll short, but the totals makes up for that loss. Box was clean, undamaged and unopened when KT cut it open, so it was a Loomis screw up. KT has learned to live with that...only thing that POs KT is the possibility that the lost roll had some silver in it, since the box was running with silver. :p

Enjoy the pics and best of luck to all this coming week!

KT's on a roll !! Way to add to the pile! I like the proofs, much value in them? That French coin does remind me of a Walking Liberty half also.

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments!

Junkminer, KT talked to a fellow who auctions coins at the local coin club meetings. He stated if there were mixed rolls of proofs to auction, he felt he could get at least $20 a roll, as a starting bid and perhaps more...so if one gets quantities of them, they would have some value to collectors. Having not sold any at this time, His Majesty only guesses this would be true. Of course if KT ever decided to sell any locally, they would all be clad, no silvers in a roll.

Very nice finds once again my Lord. A shame that French 5 Franc wasn't just two years older... 1969 and prior were 83.5% silver.
