looks like an aftermarket key blank to me - maybe 1950 or so? I had a 1950 Ford truck and the key had the same shape. Is that a car on one side? Edit: On second thought that block style lettering on "ford" makes me think it's later.

From what I can find, that Ford crest style was used in the early 1960s. Not exactly like it, but very close. I'm thinking this is an aftermarket key that did a 'kinda-like' version of the crest logo to avoid any trademark problems.

Although, here's one that the seller is calling an OEM Ford key blank from 1935-1951 that is exactly like yours, complete with the futuristic car on the back.

It went to a car. So did the Chrysler key. Yes it is a reproduction car key also. Briggs and Stratton made keys to a lot of cars.

These are originals.

I have two sets of originals and a few singles. I do not know the age though. Mine are underwater finds.

Ironically, Ford is the company that invented the "double-edge" key.
My 68 Mustang has these, and it rocks because they never go in backwards...
