Found these on a circa 1800s farm site. I believe they are solid brass or bronze.

Thanks for helping! :D

Those are cool! Old timey grease fitting/moving machine part? Is there a hole going through from the bottom of the potbelly bowl, to the bottom of the part? It looks like the "bottoms" have a little radius/groove, that would fit on a rounded rod or something?

Hey thanks for the great comments. No, the holes do not go thru.

I also have found old plumbing supplies in the same area. I think it might be a decorative rod holder, but the tapered bottom is throwing me off.

Pic 1: Top fitting; The way that it has that little "hook" at the top, and the second hole coming out of the left side of the bottom, along with the curvature of the bottom, makes me think it attaches to a round tube or bar, with screws.
Pic 4:, is that hole at the top threaded, or is it just rings cut into the interior? and is there access to a screw hole in the bottom?

Update*** upon closer inspection, yes the cups have a small hole on the bottom leading to the area where the shaft would be. I missed them the first time around cause they were caked shut with dirt. This would make sense if it’s a oil distribution system. I think we solved this mystery.

Anyone have a clue as to the age or manufacturer?

No clue but a can tell you it was low speed and low torque low vibration.. Maybe a well pump, old bench sharpener or wood lathe.
