Wagon Part?

Found several of these iron objects at a 1805 house in Upper East Tennessee that has been continually inhabited through today. The property faces the old Kentucky Road. I have found a dozen of them over time in various sizes but all are crudely made. Some obviously damaged and bent. The property is full of square nails, horse shoes and tack. Could it be a wagon part or tool? Because of the number I have found I thought it might be good to know what they are.
