Couple find ring after 9 years

After 27 years my wife found my sons high school class ring. He had taken it off and placed it on a window sill while he worked on his car. He had borrowed a metal detector and checked he entire yard. When I stated detecting I searched the yard. We could not find the ring and believed it had been lost forever.

One day My wife noticed something round under a shrub that is in front of the front door and when she got it from under the shrub she started yelling for me to come out there. Fearing the worst I rushed to the front door and she said I found Ernies ring.

Strange as it seems miracles do still happen.
