I took a chance and ordered these from Amazon:

So far they do the job. They connect with the “+” after the Bluetooth icon, indicating it’s operating at low latency. They’re comfortable and allow for wearing a hat and/or headlamp if that’s your style. I’ve only been out with them a few times, so I can’t give a comprehensive review on them yet. For $20 I think you could do a lot worse.

Please keep us posted. I have a few pairs of aptx-ll earbuds that folks raved about. They're ok, but battery life sucks. Can't hunt more than 4 hours on a full charge.

This one has the semi-rigid neck strap thing that goes around the back of neck. I’ve had pretty decent experiences with that style over the separated individual earbuds. There’s a little more space for a larger battery in the collar(?) and you don’t have to worry about burying one of them when filling a hole back in after a signal. I used the same style last season and was nothing but happy. The model I was using was twice as much, but I feel they were worth the cost. If the new ones don’t work out, I will definitely switch back to them. This is a link to the set from last season:

I've got several pairs of Aukey earbuds and they work great. But since last year I've been using these SoundBlaster headphones. They are super lightweight, aptX LL, long battery life and they are on ear but not over ear. This means they aren't so hot and let ambient noise in so you can be aware of your situation. Plenty of volume, I've been using them constantly since last summer. Looks like they are on sale for $34.99

Aukey B80 is the model I bought most recently - two pairs. Battery life has not been that great. Cannot hunt a full day (6-8 hours). I don't get more than 4 hours out of a fully charged set.

Thanks for the initial review. I just ordered some.
