Apex headphones

So I’m going to get an apex after a ton of research. It’s perfect for my needs and wants. I want the ability to use headphones when people are around, but do I have to use those big bulky ones that look like ear muffs? I want to still be able to hear my surroundings. Is there a way to pair the apex to a smaller pair of headphones or even earbuds?

Maybe a dumb question. If so, sorry!

I completely understand not wanting to wear the Garrett MS-3's.
You have three options I think...
Wired 3.5mm headphones/buds plugged in directly to the Apex.
Wired headphones plugged into a Z-Lynk WR-1 receiver you carry on you.
Wireless Aptx-LL bluetooth transmitter plugged into the Apex and paired to Aptx-LL bluetooth headphones.
The first option is obviously the simplest/cheapest.
