Default An amazing hunt, first for me, and a rare barber!

Hey everyone,
Here are some finds from my last two hunts. The first hunt I found 3 silver coins and 11 wheats including a 1913s wheat. Then on the second hunt I meet up with my buddy Dan after work and had an amazing hunt. My first old coin was a worn 1906 barber then I found a 1913 barber dime and called Dan over. I rechecked the hole with my pinpointed and it went off again and then I popped out another barber dime for my first ever 3 barber hunt. This is the second time Iíve found a 2 barber spill. One of the 1913 dimes was a 1913s which is the second lowest mintage of all the barber dimes. They only minted 510,000 of that one.

Hope youíre all staying cool because itís smoking hot here.
Jason

That is a great hunt! Barbers can be hard to find, and getting a low mintage coin is especially nice.

Haha ! Great play by play. Great condition key-date barber dime. With ... of course .... the obligatory California "S" mint I'll bet Dan was having kittens when he saw you digging those , ha

Super digs Jason. Not often anybody puts 3 barbers into the pocket. Glad to see you and Dan team up again. I don't think you two have ever had a unsuccessful outing. Congrats on the 6 silvers, all those Wheat's and of course the Marbles. Trapper

Yeah, but don't forget : Dan is a robot. He's not human. So you can't really count his finds as an "atteboy" .

Dang! That two amazing 1913S coins in one hunt! Amazing. Congrats. That 1913S is one of the 4 regular issue wheats I have not found while detecting! Nice work!

Awesome finds! I've only found 1 barber and it was a toasted 1906. When I dug it up I was sure it was just another dime but there was something different about it. Wiped the back off a little and saw the "ME" in "dime" and knew i had something. cleaned it up a little since it was already toasted and got the date. I sure hope i dig up a couple more in as good of shape as yours! Those are killer! Congrats!
