Thanks to all for the replies! Looking for a period find, beyond the nails, brick scraps, 100+ year old pieces of broken bottles and crockery...to validate the research I was hoping for a crusty Indian or something, maybe a Barber Dime if lucky to prove I was in the right area...and not expecting a Seated Quarter that was lost early on in circulation. Dug all the proof I needed in one sweet silver Been pretty focused on this project the last few days and a couple more of the puzzle pieces are beginning to fit together now.
