Did go back to SD Lot this afternoon.

After supper I decided to head back to hunt the Silver Dollar lot before dark. Didn't find a lot, but found something that made the hunt special. A while back I found a gold plated coin that had been made into some kind of pin. Tonight I found it's mate!!

It has more gold plating than the first one. At first I thought it was my first gold coin from the site, but soon as I flipped it over, I knew what I had. Still, what are the odds of finding both of them, considering how much digging has taken place on that lot. Glad I went back tonight. :yes:

Those yellow coins are hard on your heart. I found one of those gold plated quarters and when I saw the rim of the coin in the dirt the adrenalin flowed freely and my heart rate went thru the roof. The disappointment was palatable when I saw what I had.

Glad somebody knows what they are. With the brackets with two holes, I couldn't figure out how they were used.
