I am new to the hobby. My wife bought me a Bounty Hunter for Christmas. Although it was fun to learn the basics, I am ready to upgrade to a better machine. I have already decided on my pinpointer, but am still on the fence about which metal detector to get. What is another good place to find accurate reviews for products besides this forum? Also, those with multiple detectors, what have you had the best results with for your money when you decided to upgrade? I always like to cross reference as much as possible. 1) What type of hunting are you going to do ie... water, relic, coin
2) What type of budget have you set for a new machine ?

Many people say good stuff about the Garrett AT Pro, but let us know what type of detecting you want to do (just dry land or in water also) as well as your detector budget range, and members can offer suggestions.
