Love hitting the curb strips around here!!! Most of the "common" areas around us have been pounded to death, so much so my buddy Cruiserkev and I have a saying about a lack of finds with "I guess we are starting to think a Wheatie is a good find!". But the curb strips have proven to be very fruitful for us.
Today, as the city was busy tearing up the street for new sewer lines, I hunted the curb strip and found a nice 1929S Wheatie today (scored it terribly on the reverse) a nice 1956D Rosie and a few minutes later a BEAUTIFUL 1900 Indian Head, only my second IH of my "career" and it is in terrific shape.
Happy Hunting all...Oh and a found about $1.58 in clad for 2 hours of hunting around.
