Got an interesting digging tool a while back but it didn't have a sheath so it ended up staying in the truck most of the time. Yesterday I decided to try my hand at leather craft again (long time since Boy Scout summer camp). Finished it today when the snaps came in from Amazon (bought rivets but forgot snaps). May not real pretty, it's kinda' rustic but it does do the trick. For reference that digger is a foot long and built like a tactical Army implement.

Be very careful with that style of digging tool..

Combine the fact that the edges are normally frighteningly sharp with the fact that there is no hilt so very little stopping your fingers sliding forward as you dig, and it's a nasty accident waiting to happen; even more so if your hands are wet or sweaty....

You might need to remove the bottom rivet so the dirt can fall thru
