Went out this morning with my nephew to do some more door knocking in the old part of town.

First door we stopped at we got the okay. First good signal I got sounded a lot like silver.....turns out it was! 1899 Barber Dime!
Went around the yard some more got another good signal that was low like an Indianhead penny.....that's what it was! 1901 Injun!

Did some more swinging and dug up a little clad and a 1919 Wheatie. I kind of thought there'd be some more oldies but I think that's all there was but it was good enough for me.

We got one more permission down the street and dug a 46 Rosie and a later wheatie.

Not too bad for a couple hours.

Worn barber but good find. I found my first barber dime yesterday with nearly as much wear.
Other coins are also nice finds.

That looks like a Monopoly race car. Nice little find.

Thanks waltr! I was pretty pleased with what turned up even though that Barber was pretty worn out..... I'll definitely take it though. That's the first monopoly piece I've dug....kind of had me confused at first what I had.

Thanks Trapper! I've found as many Indians this year as I've found in the past 4 years combined......and I don't mind it one bit! I'm almost starting to like digging Indians more than silver. Hopefully I can squeak a few more out of the ground before winter hits...... I saw frost on my roof this morning [emoji852]
