I was saddened to hear that Eric foster passed away. My prayers and my thoughts are with his family and his friends. What an amazing person and what a remarkable detecting life. I learned much from him and I feel so lucky that I got to know him.

Found this out

A little while ago , sad when I am in need of a NEW WP- PI , Wonder who can replace him , he was :kingdances: OF Pi's , hope to see SOMEONE making PIs instead of them dieing off , :tissue: RIP Eric :(

It surprises me still that nobody I know or have stopped to chat with on the beach has heard of a Goldquest Aquasearch detector, let alone who made it.
Thanks, Eric, for building some great machines....

Wow, that is somber news. Undoubtedly he has helped thousands of folks (including me) recover tons of relics and jewelry. RIP!
