Default Not a great weekend detecting two old houses but got a couple of cool bottles...

Had permission to detect around two old houses that were in disrepair and being renovated and the most exciting finds were a '47 wheatie and some 1980's kid's buried treasure of 15 pennies in one hole. But there were two cool old bottles sitting on a tree stump I asked the guy working on the houses about; he said to take them if I wanted them. Would love an approximate date if somebody knows. Brown is 7.25", clear 6". Soaking them now. Brown marked NB and Co.; clear has an M in a circle

From my cursory internet research: The amber/brown bottle is Nelson Baker & Co. Detroit, Michigan, a pharmaceutical company, circa 1900-1920. The "18" may be a date or it may be the style of bottle (mould design).

The clear med bottle may be made by the Maryland Glass Co. Early 1900s-1915-20 era. It was used by an unidentified drug company and would have had a paper label at one time.

Maybe you can find more bottles there as you are onto some age with those two.

Thanks! They may have been in a root cellar that was filled in. The guy was a little foggy on where they turned up at.
