Nokta makro pulsedive problems

Just wondered if anyone has used the pulsedive pinpointer with a minelab excalibur. I cannot use them together it seems, I have to actually turn off the excal to be able to use the pinpointer. It did not come with instructions, can I adjust frequencies or something else to make them compatible? Has anyone out there successfully used these together?
