Whenever I'm out detecting I usually find some scrap odd & end pieces lying about, so I take them home & make something decorative or useful out of them, they call it "repurposing". Her are a few things I've created over the last few years.
#1 railroad plate + tooth from backhoe bucket = Door prop
#2 railroad spike = chipping hammer
#3 horseshoes = saguaro (bought shoes off Ebay) Pic went sideways, oops
#4 coil spring from pickapart= dachshund wiener dog ( I have 2 real ones )
Thanks for looking in. :tumbleweed:

That cactus is remarkable! Does it have a base? It must be quite heavy.

Looks like the ends could hold some flower pots!

Those are awesome. I'm neither handy enough or creative enough to do stuff like that. Great work.

That cactus is amazing! Nice work. Those RR track plates are beefy, I used one for target practice (12ga slugs and 44mag, need to try the xm855 next time I get out  )

I like that it says Santa Fe on it.

Nice way to reuse thing we find!
I used and old escutcheon plate that I found out in the bush on my front door and the key fits nicely through the old original hole even though it is a high security lock inside.
