Default Found Cod Today

Yup dug another Cod bottle. Rechecked a trash pit and this was in it.
I put dishwasher soap in it to get some details.
I'm starting to enjoy bottle digging.

You might be giving some of the ole timers nightmares. Cool bottle.

Does the top look anything like this? These had a weird top and cap.

Scott's Emulsion was basically cod liver oil for children. It's still around today.

There is no cap but glass top looks same as the picture link sent. Very thin top.
The bottom though is plain no writing.

I have a brown one just like that only it doesn't have any writing on it, only the fisherman and the cod. I believe mine is from Scotts and I found it in a trash dump from the 50s thru 70s. Hope that helps

(mine is in a box somewhere but here is a picture of the bottle from another site)
