Well, that's an interesting recovery! Yes, I think I've heard of detectorists uncovering false teeth, but it's certainly not the kind of gold we anticipate! My dad (Lost&Recovered) is a dental technician, so I'll have to show him this post.

I read that typical dental gold is 67% gold.
Used to find it a lot. Not so much this year. Luckily my scrapper loves dental gold. Now all you got to do is find some cremains gold.

Most dental gold is 18k at least I have found that to be true... older dental gold can be upwards of 22k...
