I dug 17 nickles with the Equinox 800, that's the most I have dug in one day. The oldest was 1941 then they jumped to 1962, 1963 and newer.

I dug 31 nickels a week ago with my ctx. They were all clad and were scattered about so it wasn't like I found a spill. I also dug 105 pennies plus a fair amount of quarters and dimes.

I have a nox 800 on the way. Should be here Friday. It is for my wife. I have another nox 800 that should be shipped out this week or next for myself.

If the nox 800 is as tough on nickels as my ctx, I will be pleased with that. With the ctx and target trace, I can tell the difference between a nickel and a tab 90% of the time.

I was hunting in park 2
Sensitivity 21
Sweep speed 7 ... I tried 8 but it didn't give clear signals with all the trash.
Iron bias 1
Two of the nickles were close to bigger pieces of trash metal.
