Default Incredible Hunt - part 2

Continued to work on my lucky strike from two weeks ago. All of the top layer finds are gone and now its down to the deep stuff, 10 to 20 inches. This is no easy digging but the treasures keep coming out. 5 silver washingtons, 5 rosies, 2 mercs and a silver earring put the silver total this hunt at 13. Im blowing away my silver goal.

Also 17 wheaties and 4 buffalos, one is a semi key date, 1923 S. 4 conglomerates, 3 with a coin and one with a fantastic piece of jewelry. I believe its brass. Looks close to gold but a lot of tarnish leads me to believe otherwise.

Happy Hunting!

It is still producing for you, that is great... Just keep scratching till there is nothing left to find...

The conglomerates are something else...

Great finds... keep hitting it! I'm understandably curious as to what that concretion with the jewelry imbeded is?! Are you gonna soak it in and disolve the crusts. If so let us know!

At this point, 95% of detectorists would walk right over this site. I'll be scratching for awhile to get those deep deep targets.

There is a piece of iron stuck in it, I'm not exactly sure what causes the conglomeration. I took off more of the layers on top of the jewelry but will leave it stuck in the rock. Interesting display piece
