Misprint half dollar

I need your help. I found this 1/2 dollar and it has some odd things about it.
1. A raised dot below the neck line.
2. The “E” on liberty is covered up some
3. The 9 looks almost like a 0
Is this standard on this coin or is it a misprint?

Wow what sloppy craftsmanship. If I were to make a die for production I would make sure it was well planned out.

Looks like they had the background laid out just right, but made his head a bit too big. :laughing: All on my halves are the same way.
 
What you have is a typical Kennedy Half. It's not a mint error. The raised dot under the neckline is a mint mark....."D" to show that the coin was minted in Denver, Colorado.
