so i was scanning the area near the pond by my complex and bam! i get a amazing hit..it seems to be about a foot long. it is buried under a old oak tree that looks to be 100 to 150 yrs old. i looked up and noticed a old piece of rope tied to one of the branches. Im in the process of digging it uop but it is under alot of roots. I hope it pays off, whatever it is.

Im gonna have to agree with tonym... I hope thats not what it is, but that seems to be the most logical. Dont let an arborist catch you cutting roots on an old oak like that.
