Show me your injuns

Lates IHP found today. It is a semi key date 1871 Bold N variety if I am looking at it correctly. It came out pretty nice.

Pretty nice????!! She looks awesome! I found two today: 1875 and 1881. Nice green patina on both, but the 1875 is worn nearly flat.

Haha Thanks. Nice job on yours as well.

Here are my latest two. These came from the front and side yards of a large ,abandoned 1800s house with the permission of the property owner. Remarkably, the 1875 coin was less than an inch deep and I nearly didn't dig it. I already had a handful of zinc pennies that read the same way.

I already posted this in the coinshooter section but thought I better add it to this thread as well. 1877 dug yesterday in a late 1800s small town park!

Boy, that one is very sharp for it's age! Awesome dig!

Matt, your pics are fine, but with all the great finds you post, a better camera would be a good investment. I just use a point & shoot Nikon Coolpix at 5MP. 9MP for really fine detail. Then crop. Lighting is essential. Some of the best photos nowdays are coming from iphones.

Already reported in the Coinshooters section but added here at your request.
This is my very first one ever. Hopefully not the last!

Here is the crustiest Indian I’ve ever dug. Soaked it in dawn dish soap for a couple of weeks just to get it to the point of identifying it as an Indian

All of the Indians I dig look a lot like that. The soil here just destroys them... :(

Found this one on my last hunt - it's one of my nicer ones, lol.

I captured me a renegade injun this afternoon.
A '76 that has been eluding my Whitman Indian tribe,
Cleaned with a little olive oil, it's now part of the Whitman tribal council!
Just 8 more renegades to track down.....

Here is an Indian I posted about three months ago
1a85003d2b6248098dcfeffd9a79fefb.jpg

Horrible condition so I had soaked it in dawn dish soap just to get it to that condition. Just came across it again and did some chipping on it and was able to get a date. I really didn’t think I would get that
