Recently got a Thunder coil for my AT Gold. Started hitting my usual yards that I’ve been at for the last two years. Yesterday I was at a 1903 house that I’ve scoured extensively. About three hours got me a 1926 Mexico 1 cent, 1912 Barber dime (my second Barber ever) and a 1905 V nickel. I’m not exactly sold on the coil just yet. A lot of time wasted on ghost signals. I pretty much have to start out each day doing a hard reset on the detector. If not, the random chatter starts as soon as I start swinging. And almost all yards now ground balance at 0, when that previously wasn’t the case. But these three coins were definitely in areas that were hit hard before, so I know it’s working, just have to sort through the signals.

How deep were they?
Mixed, four to eight inches. Soil here is unpredictable. Some of it is packed harder than a brick, and some is super soft. The dime was about four inches but soil was hard. I’d already been over this spot at least three times with the stock coil.
