Default Old Copper Medallion or Pendant

Hello everyone,

I have found this old medallion, pendant, or necklace piece in Marion, MA. It was in an old section of woods near a rock wall, fairly close to the coast (and colonial/1800 era homes). Can anyone identify what it is or the approximate age?

I think the medal was probably modeled after a copper coin of the city of Carthage or one of the places Carthage colonized, Sicily being one of them.

Thanks! I agree that it looks just like some of them for sure. I also agree with the comment below, im confident it is a replica made after those designs. It has a little extra script that isnt shown in the examples given too.
