I've had my Nox 800 for about 6 1/2 months now and most of my detecting has been at river parks near me in sand, gravel and shallow water near the shore.
These are prime fishing rivers, and with that, I will find many lead sinkers which ring up very nicely, and I always have to dig. This time I got the typical vid of 10-11 a couple feet from waters edge in a wet sandy area about 6" down. I first assumed I found another sinker, then I rinsed it off and looked closer and was very surprised at what I had found. I believe this may be rare to find, and I think there may be some gold content. My wife and son thought this was a creepy find.
