I found another small out of the way park. It was slim pickings but I did manage to sniff out a couple of Rosies (1958 & 1961-D) and a three band silver ring. But no nickels today.

As of late, I been on a silver streak as to bring my FTY total to #44.

Thanks yooper69! Good eye on the ring. It does have some nice weight to it. It hit hard on the VDI with a banging 38.

Wow a 38???

Anything over 37 has always been trash for me... like they say area is key.... still major congrats!

Honestly, I was about to pass it up...thinking it was lid/can of some kind. But the banging sound had a tight footprint. I am glad I decided to digging it up. I think due to the strong sound/high numbers, others had passed it up.

Most likely the case. I would’ve dug it for that exact reason but I would’ve expected the worst lol

Congrats on the silver John, the ring is pretty sweet as well. For me I have been killing on nickels but couldn't find silver in the mint right now. Hope the slump ends soon. Is that an old dog tag I see? HH Mark
