Wanting to update my arsenal, and I am looking for something in the lower price range for both prospecting/nugget shooting and relic hunting. The Gold Bug Pro has a 2 Coil Combo pkg that looks interesting at around $650.....anyone here have experience with one of these machines? I'd love to hear your opinion?

The gold bug pro (se), f19 and g2 (+) are all basically the same. Probably more reviews on the g2 and f19 so search/ask about those detectors too. I have a f19 (it's for sale in the classified) but haven't used it enough to help you other than tell you it's a good machine; easy to set up, pleasant to use, fast and light weight.

The F19 or G2+ with the 10X5" elliptical DD coil is one of the best detectors for relic hunting and gold prospecting for the money (especially used if you can find one for less the $350) that you can buy. It is also a very good coin and jewelry detector. It also does pretty well on salt water beaches too. You can run it hot in most places without any EMI issues. There are so many FTP and aftermarket coils that I can't count them all. The Gold Bug Pro has a few less features than the F19 and the G2+ which are identical except for rod and faceplate.

Thank you guys, after some quick research and these posts, I'm sold on the F19.
