looks like a pontil mark on the bottom, but could be a clevenger or another repro/copy.

its a pontil bottle, hubby said he thinks they quit making those in the 1860's

there are different kinds of pontil marks, some starting around the Civil War era and extending to today.
Is there a seam around the lip where it meets the orange peel-ish shoulder?
If it looks symmetrical it's very new, if it looks like someone slapped a top/spout on it, it could be an early bottle.
I put the 2 pics on the Bottle forum I'm on. Someone on there will know what it is or isn't.

People on the forum I go to said it's basically a copy or foreign.
