I wish I could dectect anywhere in that county....my grandmother lives in kennet square. The entire county is just dripping with old history. In fact I will be down that way this weekend. Gonna try and catch longwood gardens in the summer as I have mostly only seen their christmas set up most of my life.

That is why I am looking for public places to detect that don't require any permission or are easily obtained. Most of the townships, towns, etc in Chester County don't allow metal detecting.
