Any idea what this might be?

I am sure this is not very old, but I am still interested in what it might be. If you have any suggestions that would be great.

There are no markings on the back.

BTW, initially, I thought it was a bunch of pull tabs melted together

Upon closer inspection, there are some details on it so gratefully not pull tabs. I am not sure of the metal, maybe pewter ??

My guess: Part of a cabinet drawer pull. The ring or knob would go in/through the center.
