I had a great day detecting today. I found many things all from the 1700s to very early 1800s. I found two buttons both are the same. I’ve never seen before. They are the size of a nickel. They look like there made of Tom back material. The backs are convex. They look like they where two piece. Any idea the age?

Buttons came in a few thousand shapes and sizes. I have a jar with hundreds on my shelf. I have similar tombacs from my 1700s sites.
