I found a few Wheaties yesterday and two unusual finds. The silver thing has a pin at each end ?? and the Bobcat pin is a little different from the ones I found on line. Any ideas on the details of these things?

thanks

The silver item is a cover for the tailpiece of a banjo or mandolin.

Thanks Cliff, I showed it to a friend at church who is a retired band director and he agrees and explained to me where it is attached to the instrument. I never would have guessed that one.

I own a couple banjos and had a couple mandolins.
