So my wife’s uncle calls and says, “I traded my tractor ($3k value) for a bunch of old coins, I think some are silver. We’re going to cash out, but thought you’d might like to check ‘em out first.”
I was on it like no tomorrow.
Turns out he had about 1500 modern presidential dollars, and many with water damage, hence, “old coins.”
A half dozen Susan B Anthony’s were set aside.
“Those are the silver ones”, says uncle.
Kinda sad really, but I educated him on the value, and he replies, “I’ll let you have them all for a buck a piece!”
