Here's What 32 Days Of Tumbling Does To Petrified Wood

I've always wanted a rock tumbler but never pulled the trigger. what's a good one to start with?

Try a Lortone Tumbler, a single barrel is good, a double barrel is better. Other makes, have plastic barrels, which wear out and are very noisy. The motors in Lortone last for a very long time. I have used mine for at least 20 years. The tumblers are made in USA and parts are readily available if needed.

Those look beautiful! Can you post a picture (if you have any) of what they looked like before?

Here's what they look like out of the river. This is a different batch I got last year and also tumbled. Also included is my favorite polished petrified piece, one with a picture of a bird's head with the beak.

Petrified wood is so cool! The tumber really made them amazing, thanks for showing.
