You know how they have apps now that can identify just about any plant you take a picture of? They need to make an app like that for detectorists that gives a list of possible matches.

Art deco style money clip. Most likely late 1800's to early 20's. The front symbol looks like a faux Chinese or Japanese monogram.
Either that or part of a cloak clasp.
