Nice move on their part. I always thought it was dumb that they made the backlight levels one of the differences between the 600 and 800. On the 800 I only ever use the brightest setting during the day to overcome glare. In the evening the lower settings are all that's needed.

Just loaded up the new 2.0.1 on my 800. Will give it a test run at some old parks and possibly yards tomorrow and hopefully have a video update with some good finds!

Version 2 here, from Version 1.50

100% definitely digging WAY less bottlecaps.

To tel you the truth, not dug one yet, but I really didn't want to say that, coz worrying about jinxing myself
