I'm new to the forum and new to detecting. I got a metal detector as a gift about 3 years ago and have learned a few things since. Me and the kids have searched a little in the back yard and I've searched the beach while vacationing in Panama City FL.

I'm just hear to hopefully learn a lot more by looking around the forums.

Use the forum "search" feature with key words of what you're trying to get more info about, and you can always ask questions, with all the members here there should be several familiar with what you're asking that should be able to answer your questions.

Welcome from Columbia SC! You can find a lot of good information on here. Some here have many years swinging a detector (Myself, too many) and have a plethora of knowledge, both useful and not (JK).
