PLEASE Help IDing another large copper. Connecticut?

The other large copper I found last week. It was crusty and have gone this far with a toothpick. Again, scared to go too far.

I'll work on it some more.

28-29mm diameter.
Right-facing head.
Chunky nose
Possible bow at base of head
"Shoulder" of bust is big from base to neck.
Possible chunky letters in front of face and behind head.

I think your best bet is to try to get one of the letters. The ones on the right look most likely to come out. Have you looked at it from different angles while wet under bright light. That often works for me to get features to come out.
 
@randy Yes, a bit. I've had to just let it sit for awhile. It was eating me up!

Took another look at it and certainly am agreeing on KGIII. Half-penny seems to be the right size. I also, for the first time, can see the curved arm of Britannia that reaches up and holds the spear. When I've got it oriented right, I can then find the shield but that's it so far on the reverse. No letters quite yet, tho I can imagine a few. :)
