In my quest to become a journeyman relic hunter I continue to run across tootsie toys, cap guns, and the like which I also enjoy finding. Might change my ambitions to "cap gun connoisseur" or maybe "Tootsie Toys R me".
But on this latest toy adventure I did run across this 5 inch explosive cannonball without a fuse that looks like it might have suffered a tractor plow strike. The 2nd Cannonball I've ever found, my first one was a 30 pound 8 inch explosive.
The miniature cap pistol appears to be from the 30's, parts still move and is German made. The similar cap pistol in the Etsy photo is the closest one I could find to the one I found.
