Does it totally power up to the main detection screen or does the display momentarily light up and then go dark. The second scenario is normal depending on the power source. The first scenario isn’t.

Powering fully up when you plug in the charging cable happens occasionally, and it's normal. Mine does it about 1 in 10 times. Just turn it off.

The screen momentarily going bright, then dark to the charging screen is also normal.

My first Legend system box would act normally when the charging process started......momentary lighting up of the screen, screen goes dark, the charging icon appears top left of the screen. Sometimes during charging, like an hour later, it would just power on spontaneously....... and I would have to power it off manually. In the middle of the night, that was annoying. That system box was replaced by Nokta Makro under warranty for that issue and two other power management issues.

Someone questioned Equinox 800 iron bias etting in video above.. post #264.
So I retested Eqx with default iron bias FE=6 park 1 (which is what was in detector in previous video) and max iron bias in park 1.

TN, that was a good catch you made on that test. Being a legend owner I'm glad your finding the flaws,so they can be addressed and fixed .Thing about these updatable machines is they can fix that.. thanks for the video

I checked tone freq setting using 60 tones. Appears to work as advertised in manual.
