I found my first great seal tonight at an old park that my wife told me about. She said she used to play there as a kid. When I got there I knew this park was a lot older than she led me to believe. There were at least ten to 20 trees, I knew were at least 100 years + old. I hit all of them hard! A !!!! ton of pull tabs, a tonka truck, fake gold ring from a wedding favor, like the ones you get with the bubbles at a reception and one memorial cent, date unknown
I figured this area could have been hit by others in the recent past so I wondered off a little. I found a very old trail, I saw the foot path worn in, but time settled in and the foliage took over. I saw a boulder, I'd say it was easily two or three times the size of a beach ball. No one man or machine could have moved this boulder here. It was there for a very long time. I swung slowly and in numerous patterns around the boulder. I got a very strong hit, a 49 / higher but it was reading only 6 inches but I got to 10 before my pinpointer started screaming at me when I pulled out some sweet sweet nector!
