Default Date for Train luggage tag

I found this nice find in my back yard the other day. I need delp identifying the year. It's brass I or copper I believe.

Cant help with date but thats a sweet find, I like finding RR items.
Gotta be late 1800s.

What an awesome find!!!!! There is a group called ID ME and you could post there if you get no luck anywhere else... Lots of good people there willing to date things for people...

That's really neat that you found a luggage tag from Minnesota! I haven't seen one from my state posted before.
