Default Branson Item

On Sundays I always check the local park to see what activities are taking place. That way I will have a good idea of where to detect to find something new. I don't take a detector with me but while walking home I found this along the sidewalk. The back appears to have a hinge of some kind. Does anyone know what it is off of?

I Googled the piece and learned there was a Branson Guitar company at one point, but all the links to it are now dead. I'm not certain, but I was also under the impression that the Branson Guitar company was located in Branson, MO, which isn't too far from your location. However, I have no idea what the piece would have been attached to.

You'd think someone who's been here as long as you SS, would think to add something for size reference in his pics

I'm going with a lid to a souvenir music box. Size might change my guess.

Sorry. I was up to late last night. It's 1 5/8" tall by 1 1/8" wide.
