Default Machete?

Found this on the surface while walking a North Alabama field. Looked it up on Google and came up with Crocodile Machete? is that what it is? Doesn't seem too old - looks like 2mm steel. Any information would be appreciated.

if found in a field, I have seen corn or tobacco knives like that which are just basically the same thing as machetes.

I looked it up on google and seems to be an exact match with one of the photos. Thank you.
