1st Equinox hunt.

I was excited when ups showed up today. Put the equinox together. Headed to my old park,The Giving Hill.Park 1,Sen at 22, Recovery at 2,Iron bias 1. I did dig a lot of deep nails,till i started to trust what the nox was telling me. I headed to the corner of the park that the dirt is real weird/difficult. Solid 11/12. 1891 V. Later on in the same area solid 15/16. 45-70 brass at 8inches. Im impressed how well this machine locks on to targets.

That is a very nice "V" Nickel, congrats on that and the old cartridge. I detect with the AT Pro but pretty much all my detecting buddies use the Nox, and it sure does sniff out the nickels!

Thank you. I still use my AT Pro. I know that machine very well. Its like an extension of my right arm. Its found me my oldest silver,lots of IHPs,Nickels. Happy Hunting
 
Nice. Still learning my Equinox. Clive's book should arrive any day now.
 
Nox is a killer....6” coil is a laser... I use 50 tones, multi frequency and multi angles..circles..not “Xs”...360 clockwise and counter...feed that machine all you can to make it’s response..
 
Congrats on the V and the 45-70 casing . After seeing the casing it made me want to get mine out and shoot a few rounds.
